I have always enjoyed working out solutions with wood.  There is a constant learning curve between creating a product in wood, the capabilities of the tools, the needs of the user, and my skills.

Over the years, I have created many of the furniture pieces in use by our family members.  Most of these pieces are still in use while most of the “store bought” products are gone.

Upon retirement, I found additional time to learn turning, carving and further explore creating special pieces of furniture.  I have found that many furniture items available in the retail stores are not the correct size, wood, stain or function for a specific need.  I love the challenge of creating a piece that is “just right”.
